Lineup:

Firewind – Greek melodic metal sensation FIREWIND surrounding guitar talent/main man Gus G. (currently with Ozzy Osbourne, ex-Arch Enemy, ex-Dream Evil)

Arsis – In response to Virginia’s political conservativism and the state’s legacy of the Baptist religion (in addition to being known as “Mother of Presidents” because it is the birthplace of eight former U.S. presidents), it’s no surprise that band founder/songwriter/guitarist/lead vocalist James Malone adopted a mantra of courageous insurgence and very early on in his life – especially in the musical realm. ARSIS, which derived its name from the musical term “arsis and thesis” meaning unstressed (up-) and stressed (down-) beats respectively, makes music that is righteously tinged with black & thrash metal influences, but is completely dedicated to expanding the reaches of melodicism and technicality in the genre of death metal.

White Wizzard – With a screaming demon on vocals, a tight guitar attack that can shred AND play with feel, thunderous melodic bass and drums, White Wizzard is poised to take the torch of the great metal bands of the past. They look to the future with a dominating spirit and memorable melodic hooks and songwriting. See you on tour…

Nightrage – With hard hitting rhythms laid down by the pulsating bass playing of Anders Hammer and the machine like drumming of Johan Nunez, no stone is left unturned by a band that knows exactly where it came from and exactly where it’s going. “Wearing A Martyr’s Crown” will go down in Melodic Death Metal history! Without a doubt it is the comeback of the decade in the melodic death metal genre.

Resolution 15 – Resolution15 uses 7-string electric violin as the primary instrument for executing their bone-crushing, ear splitting, head banging riffs.

Empyreon – Empyreon emerges onto the scene with an innovative sound consisting of keyboard driven melodic metal. Hard to define or categorize, the band prefers to simply call it “Metal.”

North American Tour? Check. American muscle cars? Check. Witches riding broomsticks and shooting fireballs from their hands? Check. Creepy sidekicks? Check. A White Wizzard shredding on a flying V and shooting lighting from the headstock because of the fury of his shredding? CHECK.

The power metal band, White Wizzard comes to New York City on October 12th through Gotham Rocks (and No Mercy Metal) playing the Gramercy Theater along with Ozzy Ozbourne’s new guitar genius, Gus G and his band Firewind. Joining them are metal powerhouse Arsis and euro metal band, Nightrage.
